This section addresses problems relating to installation of SCO UnixWare 7 or
SCO UnixWare 7 NonStop Clusters.
Solving Installation Problems
Possible Cause
Power cord or power source
Power supply circuit breaker
Keyboard, mouse, or monitor
cabling
Node selection
Inadequate memory
Inadequate swap space
Node overloaded

Action
Check all power cords to ensure that
they are fully inserted into the power
supply plug and the outlet.
Reset the power supply, power
distribution unit (PDU), or UPS circuit
breaker.
Verify the cabling for correctness.
Verify that you have the correct server
selected through the
Keyboard/Monitor/Mouse switchbox.
Press the PrintScrn key for a menu of
possible connections.
Verify that the node has at least the
minimum 64-MB of RAM required by
SCO UnixWare 7 NonStop Clusters and
enough for the applications running on
the node.
Add swap space using the swap(1M)
command.
Upgrade the node or redistribute the
applications throughout the cluster.
