Speed warning

In this menu, speed limit and vehicle speed warning can be adjusted.
With regard to the speed limit, the system will access data stored on the
map CD/DVD. You can set a warning limit of up to 50 km/h above the
speed limit that is stored in the system. Depending on the value set,
relevant warnings will appear in the status line. For these warnings to
appear, you have to have the speed limit displayed in one of the status
bars (see under Screen configuration in this chapter).
The current status can be seen from the colour of the symbol for the
speed limit depending on the values set.
If the symbol is black and does not display a value, there is either no
data available on the CD/DVD or there is no speed limit on this road.
If the symbol and the value appear in black, you are driving below the
current speed limit.
If the symbol is yellow you are driving above the permitted speed but
still below the set tolerance value.
A red symbol means that you are exceeding both the permitted speed
and the tolerance value you have set.
