Route selection

Select the desired criterion:
Fastest C (Prefers the fastest route)
Shortest V (Prefers the shortest route)
Main roads N (Prefers motorways for route planning)
No main roads M (Avoids motorways for route planning)
The icon for the selected criterion is shown in the information screen i3 (System info).
Furthermore you have the opportunity to minimize the use of toll routes. If you do not
want the navigation system to use toll routes for route planning:
Activate the "No toll routes" option in the route selection list.

A tick appears before the option.
If no toll-free roads are available for route planning, toll roads will be used.
Note: If this option is activated, route planning may take longer. Therefore it is
recommended to use this function only if it is necessary.

Speed

In the "Speed" menu the following options are available:
Speed correction
Place the cursor on the value behind the "Speed correction" option.
Press OK.
Select the desired speed correction setting with the cursor keys 4 or 6.
Press OK again to store the selection.
SDVC Mode (Speed dependent volume control)
This is to compensate the surrounding noise by increasing the volume level of
guidance advice depending on the car's speed.
You can select between 5 different SDVC settings (OFF = off; 4 = maximum increase).
Place the cursor on the value behind the "SDVC mode" option.
Press OK.
Select the desired SDVC mode with the cursor keys 4 or 6.
Press OK again to store the selection.
Find a suitable compensation by trying out the different modes.
