for a specific period of time (see also the preview and Prepaid C-IQ in this
chapter). Your C-IQ Service will be happy to provide more information
about the various access options available.

Reading the Navi ID

Please have your Navi ID and your software code ready when establishing
contact. To display the identification:
u
Select "C-IQ" in the start menu and press the OK key.
u
Read the 8 digit code next to Navi ID. To the right of it, you will
find the map information. It is helpful to note both on a sheet of
paper.
t
You will also find the Navi ID in the "Code Input" menu under "C-IQ"

Code input

After you have received your code, enter it into the system.
u
In the start menu, activate "C-IQ", then "Code Input". Press the
OK key after selecting each option.
u
Move the cursor to the desired letters, symbols or numbers and
confirm your selection in each case by pressing the OK key.
u
If the code is complete, the cursor will automatically move to OK.
Press the OK button. The system will inform you if an incorrect
code has been entered, and/or if your system software is not
capable of processing the encrypted information.
u
If this is the case, select either "OK" or "C-IQ Service", if you wish
to establish contact, and press the OK key.
!
Activation by the code only works if the system's date is valid. For this
to be the case, at least one GPS satellite must transmit a date on a
single occasion or every time that the supply voltage has been
disconnected.
