Step 4: House number or junction
If for the entered road house numbers are available, you can enter these house
numbers with a separate input menu. If no house numbers are available in the
database the system automatically enters the "Junction" input menu.
If no junction is available, this input menu menu is also skipped.

After confirming the road name with "–" the input menu for the house number or
for the junction appears.
Enter the desired house number or junction.
In the database there are sections of house numbers digitized, the house number
you require will be contained in one of these sections.
In this case the navigation system guides you to the section where the specified
house number is situated.
Step 5: Route selection
After entering all data for the destination address you have to select the desired route
criterion for guidance.
Select from the following four criteria:

Fastest: prefers the fastest route
–
Shortest: prefers the shortest route
–
Main roads: prefers motorways for route planning
–
No main roads: avoids motorways for route planning
Furthermore you can activate the "No toll routes" option. Where possible toll
routes are avoided then. If this option is activated, route planning may take longer.
After selection of the route planning criterion the system enters the guidance screen
and starts route planning. Within a few seconds you will get guidance advice.
Instant guidance
During data entry with the input assistant you have the possibility to activate guidance
immediately, for example if you do not have particular information on the destination
address (house number, junction) or if you only want to go to the city boundaries.
At least enter the city name as described before.
Select the ® icon from the bottom line of the input menu.

The guidance screen appears.
Route planning starts.
