Difficult start up (02_10)

Press the starter button «7» and make
the starter motor turn for about five sec-
onds, without accelerating.
If due to particularly low temperatures the
engine fails to start at the first attempt,
slightly accelerate, press the starter but-
ton and release it as soon as the engine
starts. Keep engine accelerated for a
couple of seconds and afterwards re-

lease the handle grip.
STARTING AFTER PROLONGED IN-
ACTIVITY
If the vehicle has been inactive
for a long time, starting may be
delayed as the fuel supply circuit
may be partially empty.
In this case:
Press the starter motor «7» for
about ten seconds.

Moeilijke start (02_10)

Druk op de startknop «7» en laat de start-
motor draaien voor ongeveer vijf secon-
den, zonder gas te geven.
In het geval de scooter bij een zeer lage
temperatuur niet bij de eerste poging
start, op de startknop drukken en deze
direct loslaten wanneer de motor start.
Een paar seconden gas geven en dan het
gashandvat loslaten.
START NA EEN LANGE INACTIVITEIT
Wanneer het voertuig voor lan-
ge tijd niet werd gebruikt, is het
mogelijk dat de start niet klaar is,
omdat het voedingscircuit van
de brandstof gedeeltelijk leeg
zou kunnen zijn.
In dit geval handelt men als volgt:
Druk op de startknop «7» voor
ongeveer tien seconden.
