Configuring the Printer (User Mode)
Description
Duplex printing allows you to print on both
sides of the media.
Off: Prints simplex pages.
Shortedge: Prints duplex pages so the
pages can be bound along the short edge.
Longedge: Prints duplex pages so the
pages can be bound along the long edge.
Choices: Off, Shortedge, Longedge
Default: Off
Configuration Menu Equivalent:
MAIN MENU - PAPER MENU -
DUPLEX
This menu item appears only if an
optional duplex unit has been installed.
Specifies the page orientation that the printer
should use.
Portrait: Vertical orientation (longest side
of media vertical)
Landscape: Horizontal orientation (long-
est side of media horizontal)
Choices: Portrait, Landscape
Default: Portrait
Configuration Menu Equivalent:

ORIENTATION
When this feature is enabled (On), following
the clearing of a media jam the printer
reprints any pages that did not progress to
the output bin when the media jam occurred.
Choices: On, Off
Default: On
