Configuring UDLD on the Switch

Disabling UDLD on Fiber-Optic Interfaces

To disable UDLD on individual fiber-optic interfaces, perform this task:

Step 1
Switch(config-if)# udld disable
Step 2
Switch# show udld interface

Resetting Disabled Interfaces

To reset all interfaces that have been shut down by UDLD, perform this task:

Switch# udld reset

Purpose
Disables UDLD on a fiber-optic interface.
This command is not supported on nonfiber-optic
Note
interfaces.
Use the no keyword to revert to the udld enable global
configuration command setting.
Verifies the configuration.
Purpose
Resets all interfaces that have been shut down by UDLD.
