scale will also display in the LCD monitor if
it is on.
3. Adjust the exposure compensation
using the + or - button. Press the set
button or the +/- button to accept the
setting.

4. Shoot the image.
The LCD monitor will display the

The exposure compensation setting will
remain in effect while shots are taken in
program mode or until the setting is
changed.
5. To turn off exposure compensation,
repeat steps 1 to 4 to set the value to
zero.
• In aperture-priority AE mode, please
note that the exposure compensation
function cannot be used with a flash.
• Dark images can be brightened with
image processing application software
when the images have been loaded
onto a computer. However, please note
that it is difficult to darken images that
are over-exposed.
