Choose the setting that you want.
• ON – All analog video signals are output from the
MONITOR VIDEO OUT jacks.
• OFF – No conversion between video formats.

Multi Zone Setup

• Default setting: Variable
If you've made MULTI-ZONE connections (see MULTI-
ZONE listening on page 50) you may need to specify your
volume setting.

Select the volume level setting.
• Variable – Use this setting if you've connected a
power amplifier in the sub zone (this receiver is
simply being used as a pre-amp) and you will be
using this receiver's controls to adjust the volume.
• Fixed – Use this setting if you've connected a fully
integrated amplifier (such as another Pioneer VSX
receiver) in the sub zone and want to use that
receiver's volume controls (this setting is not
available if the surround back system setting is set to
ZONE2).
With the Fixed setting, the source is sent from this
receiver at maximum volume, so make sure the volume is
quite low in the sub zone at first and then experiment to
find the correct level.

When you're finished, press RETURN.
You return to the Other Setup menu.

1 If you selected ZONE2 in the Surround back speaker setting on page 35, you won't be able to change the volume level.

12 Volt Trigger setup

• Default setting: OFF (all components)
After connecting a component the 12 volt trigger (see
Switching components on and off using the 12 volt trigger
on page 52), it switches on automatically when you select
an input function set to switch the trigger on. Specify
which input functions switch on the trigger below.

Select an input function and choose the setting
that you want.
This should be the input function, that when selected,
switches on the 12 volt trigger.
