Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connectors (2) the I/O board cable and nano SIM cable are
connected to, and then disconnect the I/O board cable and nano SIM cable from the I/O board.

Remove the four Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screws (3) that secure the I/O board and I/O holder to
the computer.
4.
Remove the I/O holder (4) from the computer.
5.
Remove the I/O board (5) from the computer.
To replace the I/O board, reverse the removal procedures.

To remove the WWAN connector board cable, use this procedure and illustration.
The WWAN connector board cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number N96591-001.

Release the ZIF connector (1) the WWAN connector board cable is connected to, and then
disconnect the WWAN connector board cable from the system board.

Release the ZIF connector (2) the WWAN connector board cable is connected to, and then
