4.4 INSTALLATION / FACTORY SETTING

After entering the following number combination in the «change PIN» menu, you can reset
changes to the unit settings and restore your unit to its delivery condition (factory setting).
To do this select the «change PIN» menu Key M > Channels > Minor Protection > PIN

Check that the time offset is correct and change the menu language as required.
Please note that any changed PIN is also set to 00000.
4.4.1 Time offset
After switching on at the mains switch or after a power cut the time and date for the system clock
(timer) are transferred from the data received. To ensure that the time and date of the receiver
correspond to local time, a value for the deviation from standard time must be entered.
The offset value for CET summer time is {+2} hours, for CET winter time {+1} hour.
Please check or, if need be, correct the time offset value when setting up your equipment
and also when the time changes in spring and autumn.
Select using key 1 or using the 9 8 keys, then activate using the OK key and set the

desired time offset value using the * + keys. Confirm the modifications using the OK
key.
N.B.:
If an incorrect time offset value is entered, programme times will be indicated
incorrectly.
