only. Repeat this procedure until the entire face of the brush is contoured to the radius of the slip
ring.
6. Check the brushes to be certain that there is spring tension holding them firmly against the slip
rings.
7. Using a 5/16" nutdriver, attach the four screws securing the exciter cover to the machine.
8. Perform the Retest After Repair Procedure.
