1 Appuyer sur la touche TUNER/BAND pour
sélectionner la gamme souhaitée.
On peut aussi sélectionner le tuner en appuyant sur la touche
TUNER/BAND avec l'alimentation coupée. Une fois que
l'appareil est sous tension, appuyer de nouveau sur ia touche
pour sélectionner la gamme comme suit.

2 Appuyer sur la touche << DOWN ou >» UP pour
sélectionner une station.
A chaque pression sur la touche, la fréquence change.
Quand une station est regue, TUNE est affiché pendant quatre
secondes.
Pendant la réception FM stéréo, {((@))) est affiché.
Pour rechercher une station rapidement (Recherche
automatique)
Tenirla touche << DOWN ou UP enfoncée jusqu'a ce que
le tuner démarre la recherche d'une station. Aprés l'accord sur
une station, la recherche s'arréte.
Larecherche risque dene pas s'arréter sur les stations présentant
des signaux faibles.
Quand laréception d'une émission FM stéréo présente des
parasites
Appuyer sur la touche FM MODE dela télécommande pour afficher
MONO. — EY
Le bruit de fond estainsi réduit, mais!a réception est monophonique.
Pour rétablir la réception stéréophonique, appuyer de nouveau sur
la touche FM MODE pour éteindre MONO.
Pour changer le pas d'accord PO
A la fabrique, le pas d'accord PO est réglé a 9 kHz.
Si on utilise cet appareil dans un endroit ot le pas du systeme
d'allocation de fréquences est de 10 kHz, changer le pas d'accord
PO.
La fonction TUNER étant sélectionnée, appuyer sur la touche
POWER tout en appuyant sur la touche TUNER/BAND. Pour
rétablir le pas d'accord initial, procéder de la méme maniére.
REMARQUE
Aprés le changement du pas d'accord PO, toutes les stations
mémorisées (voir page 43) sont effacées. II faut mémoriser de
nouveau ces stations.
MANUAL TUNING
1 Press the TUNER/BAND button to select the band.
You can also select the tuner by pressing the TUNER/BAND
button with the power off. After the power comes on, press it
again as follows to select the band.

2 Press the << DOWN or »» UP button to select a
station.
Each time it is pressed, the frequency changes.
When a station is received, TUNE is displayed for 4 seconds.
During FM stereo reception, ({((@))) is displayed.
To search for a station quickly (Auto search)
Keep the <4<@ DOWN or > UP button pressed until the tuner
starts searching for a station. After tuning in to a station, the
search stops.
The search may not stop at stations with very weak signals.
When an FM stereo broadcast is noisy
Press the FM MODE button on the remote control to display
MONO. — EY
Background noise is reduced, though reception is monaural.
To restore stereo reception, press the FM MODE button again to
extinguish MONO.
To change the MW tuning interval
The MW tuning interval is factory-set to 9 kHz.
if you use this unit in an area where the frequency allocation system
is 10 kHz, change the MW tuning interval.
With the TUNER function selected, press the POWER button while
pressing the TUNER/BAND button. To reset the interval, repeat
this procedure.
NOTE)
When the MW tuning interval is changed, all preset stations (see
page 43) are cleared. The preset stations have to be set again.
