DSP (PROCESSEUR NUMERIQUE DE
SIGNAUX) — &
Le son d'une salle de concert est produit par les son réfléchis par
les murs et le plafond, renforgant les sons venant directement de
lorchestre.
On peut utiliser les circuits DSP de cet appareil pour recréer
numériquement les sons réfléchis afin d'obtenir ambiance sonore
d'une discothéque, d'une représentation musicale en direct ou
d'une salle de concert.
En plus, les enceintes fournies sont munies de haut-parleurs
surround orientés vers le haut et l'extérieur pour un effet de son
surround.
En sélectionnant un mode DSP, on peut obtenir un son surround
plus efficace.

de ces modes est automatiquement sélectionnée.

eLa courbe d'égalisation graphique peut également étre
sélectionnée ou mise hors service, comme on préfere.
a. Pour sélectionner un mode DSP
Appuyer sur une des touches DSP.
On peut vérifier le mode sélectionné sur l'affichage.
b. Pour annuler le mode DSP sélectionné
Appuyer de nouveau sur la touche DSP sélectionnée.
S-oFF est affiché.
c. Pour sélectionner avec la télécommande
Appuyer sur la touche DSP a plusieurs reprises jusqu'a ce que le
mode souhaité soit affiché.

Quand la source musicale est monophonique
Un effet stéréo simulé peut étre obtenu en sélectionnant le mode
LIVE.
Sion appuie surla touche MIC ECHO pour donner de|'écho au son,
le mode DSP sélectionné est automatiquement annulé.
Quand on sélectionne un mode DSP, MIC ECHO est automatique-
ment réglé sur OFF.

L'ENREGISTREMENT
On peut faire varier librement le volume de sortie et la tonalite (T-
BASS, GEQ et DSP) des enceintes ou du casque sans affecter le
niveau de l'enregistrement.

DSP (DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSOR) — &
The sound of a concert hall is produced by sounds reflected from
the walls and ceiling, reinforcing the sounds coming directly from
the orchestra.
You can use this unit's DSP circuits to recreate reflected sounds
digitally, to obtain the sound presence of a disco, live music
performance or concert hall.
In addition, the supplied speaker system has a surround speaker
which faces upward and outside, for a surround sound effect.
By selecting a DSP mode, you can obtain more effective surround
sound.
Sound characteristics of DSP modes
There are three DSP modes. Equalization curves are selected
automatically to match the DSP sound.

DISCO | A powerful sound like that of a disco.
Surround] The graphic equalizer is automatically set to ROCK.
LIVE A vibrant sound like that of a live music performance.
Surround} The graphic equalizer is automatically set to POP.
HALL | Asound presence like that of a concert hall.
Surround | Suitable for playback of orchestral music.
The graphic equalizer is automatically set to CLASSIC.
¢ The graphic equalization curve can also be selected or turned off,
as you prefer.
a. To select a DSP mode
Press one of the DSP buttons.
You can check the selected mode in the display.
b. To cancel the selected DSP mode
Press the selected DSP button once more.
S-oFF is displayed.
c. To select with the remote control
Press the DSP button repeatedly until the desired mode is dis-
played.

When the music source is monaural
A simulated stereo effect can be obtained by selecting the LIVE
mode.
INOTE
If you press the MIC ECHO button to echo the sound, the selected
DSP mode is automatically canceled.
When you select a DSP mode, MIC ECHO is set to OFF automati-
cally.
SOUND ADJUSTMENT DURING RECORD-
ING
The output volume and tone (T-BASS, GEQ and DSP) of the
speakers or headphones may be freely varied without affecting the
level of the recording.
