Stick PRO Duo" in a Memol T Stick slot of a
computer. However. in tile lbllowing ca_s. do
not use the Memory Stick slot of the computer,
but connect your camcorder to tile colnputer
with the USB cable:
The computer is not compatible widl a
"Mcmory Stick PRO Duo."
A Memory Stick Duo adaptor is requircd.
A "Menlory Stick PRO Duo" cannot be read
in the Memory Stick slot.
Reading data liom the Memory Stick slot is

N Installation procedure
You need to install the software to your
Windows computer before connecting
your camcorder to the computer. Tile
installation is required only for the first
tittle.
Contents to be installed and procedures
may differ depending on your OS.
(_) Confirm that your camcorder is not
connected to the computer.
(_) Turn on the computer.
O Notes
• Log on as an Adlnilfistrator ior installation.
• Close all _,pplic.tionsrunning on the
computer beft)rc installing the software.
(_) Place the supplied CD-ROM ill the disc
drive of your computer.
The installation screen appears.
If thescreen doesnotappear
I_Click [Stroll, then click [My Colnputer].

(CD-ROM) (disc drive),*
Drive names (such as (E:)) may vary

(_) Click [Install].
(_) Select the language lbr the application to
be installed, then click [Next].
(g) As the screen to confirm the connection
appears, connect your camcorder to the
computer following the steps below.
O Connect the AC Adaplor m a wall outlet
(wall socket).
Turn on your camcorder.
OConnect the _ (USB).jack (p. 124) of your
canlcorder tO the COlllptlter/isillg tile
supplied USB cable.
