CENTER ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT (CONTINUED)
PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect main AC input power
input leads to the machine.
2. Remove the Case Roof and Sides
using a 5/16" nutdriver and 3/8"
nutdriver.
3. Disconnect the leads that run from
the reconnect panel to the ON/OFF
POWER SWITCH.
a. Pull all leads out through the lift
4. Remove all the Molex plugs from
the control board and the snubber
board.
5. Disconnect all leads from the circuit
breakers and switches that could
hamper the removal of the Center
Assembly.
6. Remove any line connectors from
the 14 pin amphenol connector.
a. On some codes, the 14 pin
7. Remove the choke leads from the
negative output terminals.

8. Remove the heavy positive lead
from the positive output terminal.

9. Label and cut the fan motor leads
and clear leads for easy removal.
10. Remove the four screws attaching
the reconnect panel to the Base
Assembly using a 5/16" nutdriver.
11. Remove the two screws attaching
the reconnect panel to the Case
Back Panel.

12. Disconnect leads #204D and 224A
connected to the resistor R1.
13. Attach a lifting device to the Center
Assembly Lift Bail.
a. DO NOT LIFT THE CENTER
ASSEMBLY
MACHINE. This is to support
the Center Assembly so you
can remove the mounting bolts.
14. Remove the four mounting bolts
that attach the Center Assembly to
the Base Assembly using a 9/16"
open end wrench and a 3/4" socket
wrench. See Figure F.26.
15. Lift the Center Assembly carefully
from the machine.
a. Clear or cut any leads or cable
ties that hamper the removal of
the Center Assembly.
