8.2.8 Control Panel
The control panel is composed of 7 switches and 13 LEDs.

The ON LINE switch, switches between on-line and off-line and is input to IC6 (pin @2 ). This switch is
also used to set the Font type while in the function mode.
The paper feed (LF) switch is for one-line paper feed and is input to IC6 (pin
). This switch is also
used to set the Form Length while in function mode, and for Micro Line Feed while pressing the On Line
Switch.
The form feed (FF) switch is for one page-feed and is input to the CPU (pin @)). This switch is also used

to set the Pitch while in function mode, and for Micro Line feed while pressing the On Line Switch.
The function
switch,
switches between function mode and normal operation mode. In the function mode,
change of print mode is available.
The power/paper out LED lights when power is turned on and blinks when paper out is detected.
The ON LINE/FUNCTION LED lights when at the on-line status, and blinks while in function mode.
Four ROW LEDs and six COL. LEDs display print mode by matrix.
The SUPER QUIET LED displays Super Quiet Printing mode.
The SUPER QUIET switch enables and disables QUIET mode and is input to the CPU (pin @) ). This
switch is also used for setting of TOF position.
The TEAR OFF switch enable paper feeding to the tear off position and is input to the CPU (pin 3) ). This
switch is also used for selection of various items in FUNCTION mode.
The LOAD PARK switch enables automatic loading and feeding back of the fanfold paper and is input to
the CPU (pin@) ). This switch is also used for mode selection of items.
