(2) Power Circuitry
Three kinds of voltage are provided by the Power Supply.
+36V DC is used for motor and printhead drivers,
+5V DC is for logic circuits and 10V AC is for the optional Serial Interface Board. The 10V AC is also halfwave
rectified by D5 and supplied to IC9 for VCC.
42V AC, provided by the secondary side of the transformer, is
rectified by the diode bridge circuit D1 ~ D4. +36V DC is produced from the rectified voltage by switching Q1
on and off and IC9 monitoring the circuit. +5V DC is produced from the +36V DC and Q4 being switched by
IC9. IC9 (AN8081NK) is a pulse width modulation control IC (step-down type).
