6-2. Applied Control of Outdoor Unit

The outdoor fan high static pressure support and priority operation mode setting (cooling / heating / number of
units / or priority indoor unit) functions are available by setting relevant switches provided on the interface P.C.
board of the outdoor unit.

6-2-1. Outdoor Fan High Static Pressure Shift

Setup
Change the outdoor DN code. (O.DN [19]) into "Outdoor Fan High Static Pressure operation."
This function must be enabled with every discharge duct connected outdoor unit for both of the header and
follower units.

Specifications
Increase the speed of the propeller fan units on the outdoor fan to allow the installation of a duct with a
maximum external static pressure not greater than specified in the table below. If a discharge duct with a
resistance greater than 0.061 In WG (15 Pa) is to be used, enable this function. The maximum external static
pressures of single units are shown below (Table 1). In the case of combined use of multiple outdoor units,
set all the units to the same maximum external static pressure as the one with the lowest maximum external
static pressure.
