INSTALL USING LAP BELT ONLY

Lap-Shoulder Belt with Tether Strap is the Recommended
Installation Method
With the Base adjusted to the correct recline (see page 54), open the

LeverLock Door.
When installing with Lap Belt Only for Forward-Facing child weighing
25-40 lbs (11.4-18 kg), adjust the Base to Recline 2 ONLY (a).
When installing with Lap Belt Only for Forward-Facing child weighing
more than 40 lbs (18 kg), adjust the Base to Recline 6 ONLY. It is OK if
the bubble is outside of the level lines for this installation (b).

Locate the lever in the middle of the LeverLock Door. At the top of the
lever, push in with your thumb and lift up with your fingers.
