INSTALL USING LATCH
Lap-Shoulder Belt with Tether Strap is the Recommended
Installation Method
Do not use the lower anchors of the child restraint anchorage system
(LATCH system) to attach this Child Restraint when restraining a child
weighing more than 30 lbs (13.6 kg) for Rear-Facing and 35 lbs (15.9 kg)
for Forward-Facing.
When installing with LATCH in vehicle equipped with inflatable seat
belts, the unused seat belt should NOT be buckled behind the Child
Restraint System as this will engage the inflatable portion of the belt.

Remove the LATCH straps from the LATCH Storage compartment (see
pg. 23). Make sure LATCH Adjuster strap is loosened to its full length.

With the Base adjusted to the correct recline, open the LeverLock Door.
Locate the lever in the middle of the LeverLock Door. At the top of the
lever, push in with your thumb and lift up with your fingers.
