Fixed Disk Boot Sector
Select Normal to enable Write-Protect the boot sector on the hard drives to protect
against viruses.
Password on Boot
This setting allows you to require a password to be entered when the system
boots up. The options are Enabled (password required) and Disabled (password
not required).
Trusted Platform Support (*PDSBA+/PDSBA only)
Select Enabled to enable support for trusted platforms and allow the BIOS to
automatically download the drivers needed to provide support for the platforms
specifi ed. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
Security Chip State
Select Enabled to activate the onboard security chip that will provide the functionality
and protection needed for system security. The options are Enabled/Activated
and Disabled/Deactivated.
Clear Security Chip
Select Enabled to clear the functionality and features pre-set in the security chip.
Press the <Enter> key to proceed with Clearing Security Chip.
Warning!! Clearing the Security Chip will destroy encrypted data. Executing
this command or proceeding with this procedure will force an immediate
Reboot.
Security Chip State
Select Enabled to change the features and the state of the security chip. The
options are Change and No Change.
