ADJUSTMENTS WHEN THERMAL HEAD IS REPLACED
(1) Print the built-in stair-step pattern before replacing the thermal head. Use the print results as
referred for the density adjustment.
(2) Replace the thermal head.
(3) After replacing, print the stair-step pattern again.
Compare with the print results before replacement, and adjust the density if the density differs.
(4) Reset the number of printed sheets after replacing the head.
To adjust the density;
1. Set the service command
[ADR 3FH].
2. When using the servicing tool software, click
to display the current data.
When using
the LED display, the data will already be displayed.
3. When the data is increased, the density becomes thinkers.
Adjust to the desired value, and press
if using the servicing tool software, and
if using the LED display.
4. Print the stair-step, and repeat the adjustment until the same density as the reference is
obtained.
To reset the number of printed sheets after replacement of head
1. Set the service command
|PAGE 4] | ADR 23H}.
2. If using the servicing tool software, press |WRITE]. If using the LED display, press |EXEC}.
The data need not be set.
