In order to make an accurate diagnosis, the stor-
ed data can on ly be disp layed using special diag-
nostic equipment (generic scan too l for 0BD).
I n order to connect the special diagnostic equip -
ment, push the plug into the Data Link Connector
(DLC). The DLC is located to the rig ht of the hood

sonal use. Incorrect usage can cause malfunc-

Electronic speed limiter

Your veh icle may be facto ry equipped wi t h t ires
that are rated for a maximum speed of 130 mph
(2 10 km/h). This is less t han the maxim um speed
of your vehicle. To reduce t he risk of sudden t ire
fa ilur e and loss of control if the veh icle is operat -
ed at excessive speeds, your vehicle also has an
electron ic speed limiter . The electronic speed
lim ite r prevents your vehicle from going faster

road speed signals, the Malfunction Indicator
