Lamp is out, the edit points
may
sometimes
be dis-
turbed.
Operating Procedure
1. Press the Power Switch "ON".
2. Load the cassette tape.
3. Check the programme to be edited using a TV monitor.
Press the Play Button. The signals already recorded on the
tape will be played back. By pressing the Record Button
while playback is taking place, you can observe the E-E
signals which you are trying to record. This will take place
for as long as the button is kept pressed. These signals will
not be recorded on the tape, however.
4. Verify that the Play Lamp or both the Play Lamp and the
Pause/Still Lamp are tit.
Press "ON" the Assemble Button.
©The button is a self-illuminating type. When it is pressed, it
will light; by pressing it again, it will go out.

If you attempt to start editing by pressing the Edit Start
Button without selecting the editing mode, the four

will flash six times,
reminding you to select the desired editing mode. After
selecting the mode, press the Edit Start Button.

will flash.

5. Press the Search Button, then using the Search Dial search
for the edit In point. Once the In point is found, put the unit
in the still mode. (See page 14~15.)
<Caution>
Press the Reset Button on the Tape Counter to reset the
counter to "0:00:00:00". When
the counter is reset, the
previously set edit start and end points will be erased.
