Video Input Connector
Connect the video signal to be recorded, such as a video
camera, to this terminal.
© Sync Input Connector
Connect this connector to a composite sync signal from
a reference sync signal generator when synchronizing
the unit with an external reference sync signal.
®To connect advance sync from TBC.

Video Output Connector
Connect this toa TV Monitor, video recorder, or time base
corrector.
@ Edit Automatic Stop Selector
By putting this selector in the "ON" position, the VTR will
automatically stop in the event that a servo disturbance
occurs during editing.
@ DOC Output Connector
When it is connected, a dropout detection RF signal will be
output. Connect this to the DOC Input terminal of a time
base corrector.
@ Time Code Output Jack
Connect this jack to the input jack of a time code reader
and play back time code signals.
Set the Audio CH2 Selector @ to "TIME CODE".

Audio Monitor Output Jack
You can obtain the audio output selected by Audio
Monitor Selector @ from this terminal.

Capstan Override Jack
Use this jack when connecting with the Editing Controller
AG-A800.
Connect this jack to the CAP OVERRIDE Jack of the
AG-A800
when
synchronizing
the capstan
with the
recorder (or player) during editing.
© Remote Control Connector
When you wish to operate the unit from a remote location,
connect the optional Remote Search Controller NV-A505
to this Connector. Aiternatively, when you wishtoperform
-
editing,
connect
an
optional
Editing
Controller
(AG-A750, AG-A650, NV-A500 or NV-A960).
© Dubbing Input Connector
Using the optional 7P dubbing cable (AG-C65), connect
this to the Dubbing Output Connector of the source
(playback). Note that you cannot connect this to the
dubbing connector of a 3/4" VTR.
