CHAPTER 5: Importing a Profile into a New Appliance

This section describes the process of locating the new appliance on the
network prior to profile importation.

Connect the appliance interfaces – 0, 1, and 2 – to the network,
using the proper cables.
Turn on the appliance by connecting it to a safe power source and
pressing the power switch on the back. The power cord connection
will power up the V10 appliance.
Wait until the appliance is fully powered up before proceeding, as
indicated by the Ready LED being steadily lit.
Start the Vcontroller.
When the Login dialog box appears, click the Binocular icon to the
right of the Server/IP name pop-up menu.
An informational dialog box appears.
Read the informative texts and then click Find to start the process.
