The SOHO 6 Wireless protects all of the computers that connect to
your network through the Ethernet ports and wireless connections
of the SOHO 6 Wireless. Follow the procedures in this chapter to
install the SOHO 6 Wireless and to set up the wireless network.
Because WatchGuard is concerned about the security of your
network, the wireless feature of the SOHO 6 Wireless is initially
disabled. The wireless feature should not be activated until you
configure the security of the wireless connections.
To install the SOHO 6 Wireless, follow these steps:
• Identify and record your TCP/IP settings.
• Disable the HTTP proxy setting of your Web browser.
• Enable your computer for DHCP.
• Make the physical connections between the SOHO 6 Wireless
and your network.
