Remove the top and bottom case of the transceiver. _

'If an optional filter has been installed, perform work
| with the lower half of the case attached, unless it is
| absolutely necessary to remove it.

. Install the AT-450 with three screws. (Figure 1)
Insert the flat cable into the socket of the control unit.
(Figure 2)
Remove the shield cover of the filter unit.(Figure 2)
Insert the 7-pin connector into CN9 of the filter
unit.(Figure 2)
. Insert the coaxial connector (with a white tube) into
CN3 of the filter unit.(Figure 2)
. Insert the other coaxial connector into CN4 of the
filter unit.(Figure 2)
. Cut W5 of the filter unit.(Figure 2)
. Reinstall the shield cover of the filter unit and reinstall
the top and bottom covers of the transceiver.
