c. Using a Volt-Ohmmeter (VOM), measure the power supply voltages at the

will not regulate.
4 Red: +5V
4 Blue: +12V
4 Brown: -12V

The limits for the voltages are:
4 +5V: 4.90 to 5.10
4 +12V: 11.16 to 12.84
4 -12V: -11.6 to -13.2 with a hard drive
4 -12V: -10.2 to -13.8 without a hard drive
If the voltages are correct, you can rule out a defective power supply.
1. Reconnect the cables and SBus cards one at a time and measure the voltages
