74 OPERATION

STEERING LOCK

Locking the steering lock
WARNING
Restricted steering angle
when steering lock engaged
Risk of falling
Unlock the steering lock be-
fore attempting to pull away.
Before pulling away, remove
the key from the steering
lock.
Turn the handlebars all the
way to the left and insert
the vehicle key into steering
lock 1.
Turn vehicle key 2 counter-
clockwise 3 in the steering
lock.
Use vehicle key 2 to push the
steering lock in 4 and hold it
in this position.
Turn vehicle key 2 clock-
wise 5.
Steering lock is engaged.
Remove vehicle key 2.
Unlocking steering lock
Push vehicle key 2 into the
steering lock 4 and turn it
counter-clockwise 3.
The steering lock is disen-
gaged.
Turn vehicle key 2 clock-
wise 5.
