Safety Precautions

Do not expose the DVR-390H to moisture and make sure no water gets inside the DVR-390H.
Do not touch the power plug during a thunderstorm if you are using the AC power adapter. This may
cause an electrical shock.
Do not use the DVR-390H if any foreign objects have entered into it.
Do not place the DVR-390H in an unstable location such as on a wobbly table or sloping surface.
Do not insert or drop metallic or other foreign objects into the DVR-390H through access points such as
the SD memory card slot.
Do not attempt to modify the DVR-390H.
Never operate the DVR-390H in any way while driving a vehicle.
Do not cover or wrap the DVR-390H or the AC power adapter with a cloth or quilt. Always use the DVR-390H
and its accessories in well-ventilated locations.
Handle the DVR-390H carefully and do not bump the DVR-390H into any hard object.
If you are using the AC power adapter, unplug the adapter from the AC power outlet after you have
switched it off. Ensure that any connector cords or cables to other devices are disconnected before
moving the DVR-390H.
When leaving the DVR-390H unused for long periods, such as during a vacation, always unplug the DVR-
390H from the power source (batteries or AC power adapter) for safety.
WARNING: Handling the USB and AV cables on this product may exposure you to lead, a chemical
known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after
handling.
