Your ONE TOUCH
is easy to maintain. These tips will
help you keep it in good operat-
ing condition:
CAUTION:
Do not get water or other
liquids inside the meter.
Never immerse the meter or
hold it under running water
or other liquids.
Keep the test strip holder and test
area clean (see page 73).
Keep your meter dry and avoid
exposing it to extremes in tem-

perature or humidity. For example,
do not leave it in your car.
Do not drop the meter or get it wet,
as this could damage the electron-
ics. If you drop the meter or get it
wet accidentally, make sure the test
strip holder is still securely in
place. If you drop the meter or get
it wet, check the meter by doing
check strip tests (see page 14) and
control solution tests (see page 18)
to be sure it is operating properly.
Do not take the meter apart. Sensi-
tive parts could be damaged, caus-
ing inaccurate results. Taking the
meter apart will void the warranty.
Do not clean the meter with alcohol.
Alcohol will damage the meter.
