Priority Alert Function
The priority alert function allows you to monitor mem-

Offset Direction
To select the desired transmitter offset direction press
the SHIFT/AL key.
Each time you press the key
the
transceiver will advance from one direction to the next,
i.e, "+" to "—'" ("—'' to "'— —" with TM-441Eand TM-
541A) to no offset (simplex).
Automatic Offset Selection (TM-241A
U.S.A. version) -
The TM-241A
has been programmed
according to the
standard
ARRL
(Amateur
Radio
Relay League)
Band
Plan with regard to transmitter offset direction.
Please
see the accompanying
chart for addition
information
on this programming.
You can, of course, override this
by using the SHIFT/AL key if desired.
