    2.2 Fryer Installation WARNING Frymaster fryers equipped with legs are for permanent installations. Fryers fitted with legs must be lifted during movement to avoid damage and possible bodily injury. For a moveable or portable installation, Frymaster optional equipment casters must be used.     Adequate means must be provided to limit the movement of this appliance without depending on or transmitting stress to the electrical conduit. Also, after the fryer has been in use for a period of time, a hard film of caramelized oil will form inside the frypot.

    HIGH PRODUCTION RE (HPRE) E SERIES ELECTRIC FRYERS CHAPTER 3: PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE 3.1 Cleaning Fryer 3.1.1 Clean Inside and Outside of Fryer Cabinet— Daily 1. Clean inside the fryer cabinet with a dry, clean cloth. Wipe all accessible metal surfaces and components to remove accumulated oil and dust.
  • Page 21 2. Position a metal container under the drainpipe. The metal container must be able to withstand the heat of the oil and have a sealing lid. If you intend to reuse the oil, Frymaster recommends that a Frymaster filter cone holder and filter cone be used when a filter machine is not available.

Hot oil will rush out, creating an extreme hazard. WARNING DO NOT hammer on the drain valve with the Fryer’s Friend. This will damage the drain valve ball and prevent the valve from sealing securely, resulting in a leaky valve.
