Seat belts
The service installation of seat belts should
preferably be carried out by a VW workshop.

All seats can be equipped with lap belts, the
outside seat positions can also be equipped
with lap/shoulder belts. Threaded bolt holes
are provided in both the driver and passenger
compartments for anchoring the belts.
The locations circled in the illustrations are
the tapped holes covered by the headlining,
which must be uncovered when installing the
belts.
The plastic plugs in the holes in the lower part
of the body must not be used to secure the
belts.
