System Checkout and Troubleshooting
CAUTION: Be sure the power switch is OFF, the line cord is removed,
and all peripheral equipment is disconnected before removing any boards
or disassembling the computer.
NOTE:
If
a problem is found, many of the steps refer to the DC power
board for troubleshooting. However, to troubleshoot many of these prob-
lems, the main board must be connected to the DC power board by
J5 and J6 on the main logic board. Also, the J4 connector must be left
connected in order to provide control signals to the disk drives. Refer
to Figure 6-1.
