Configuration
Setup Menu
Previously, the computer's configuration was controlled by hardware jum-
pers and switches on the various circuit boards. Now with the Setup menu,
most configuration information can be programmed into the system with
this ROM-based program. The information that is entered is stored in
the nonvolatile RAM for future use and can easily be altered if the system
configuration changes.
To access the Setup menu, press the clock/calendar icon key to call
up the world map display. Next, press the Setup
(FlO)
key to display
the Setup menu illustrated in Figure 5-2.
