Configuration
Movement between the fields is accomplished by pressing the <SKIP
CF1) key or the SKIP> CF2) key. To make a selection, move the cursor
to the desired item where it will be shown on the screen in reverse video.
The Change CF4) key is used to change the selection. The available vari-
ables are stored in the ROM. Continue to press the Change key until
the desired value is displayed. The following discussion describes the op-
tions available for each field.
Clock
Time - Set the hour, minutes, and seconds separately. The hour will
appear in either 12-hour or 24-hour formal The seconds are always set
to 00 when F4 is pressed.
Date - Set the month, day, and year separately. The computer automati-
cally adjusts for months with fewer than 31 days and leap years.
Format - Set the time to a standard 12-hour format or to a 24-hour
formal
Time zone - Set this to the appropriate time zone. Table 5-1 lists the
24 time zones. The zone number reflects the difference in hours between
that time zone and Greenwich Mean Time. However, there may be some
deviations. The computer divides the world into 24 equal time zones which
may cause a 15 - 30 minute variation. Note that the computer also does
not allow for daylight saving time.
