POWER SOURCES
• WHEN USING THE BATTERY PACK (Accessory No.5)
The Battery Pack can be installed on the side of Video Cameral Recorder or in the Battery Compartment on the grip,
as your preference.
• To install the Battery Pack on the side of Video
Cameral Recorder
1. Remove the Power Connector Cover.
Power Connectt>r Cover is removed by sliding the
cover upward while holding the "BATTERY
RELEASE" Lever downward.

2. For attachment align the mark

on the side of the
Battery Pack with that on the side of the Video
Cameral Recorder so that they are joined together in
the grooves, and slide the Battery Pack downward,
as illustrated.

3. For removal, slide the Battery Pack upward while
holding the "BATTERY RELEASE" Lever
downward.
• To install the Battery Pack in the Battery
Compartment
1. Insert Battery Pack into the Battery Compartment of
the grip.
2. For removal, press the "BATTERY RELEASE" But-
ton while pushing the battery.

NOTE:
1. Connecting a Battery Pack, Car Battery Adaptor or
AC Adaptor to the cameral recorder automatically
shuts power off from the battery in the grip.
2. The optional 2-hour type Battery Pack PV-BT820
should be installed on the side of Video Cameral
Recorder.
4
