BAND SCAN
Band Scan allows you to scan all frequencies from the
lowest frequency to the highest frequency on each band
that your transceiver is capable of receiving. The
currently selected frequency step size for each band is
used.
1 Press [VFO] to select VFO mode.
2 Select the band that you want to scan by pressing
[F], [REV].
3 Press [VFO] (1 s), and Scan starts at the frequency
currently displayed.
¢ The decimal starts blinking to indicate scanning is
in progress.
e The scan direction is the same as last used.
e The default direction is downward in frequency.
4 To reverse the scan direction, turn the Tuning control,
or press microphone [UP]/[DWN].
e Upward scan: Turn Tuning clockwise, or press
microphone [UP].
e Downward scan: Turn Tuning counterclockwise, or
press microphone [DWN].
1 Press [VFO] to select VFO mode.
e The current upper limit appears.
