Supply voltage not present or too low at
interface module

Test of the LEDs during startup: The three
LEDs light up simultaneously for approx.
3.0 s in red, then for approximately 0.25 s
in green.
The LEDs light up simultaneously for several
seconds. Hardware or firmware defective.

Check the supply voltage or turn it on at the
interface module.

LEDs are flashing, you can read out the
data.

Evaluate the diagnostics and correct the
error.
Check the configuration of the ET 200MP to
see whether a module is missing or defec-
tive, or whether a non-configured module is
inserted.

Evaluate the display of the module status in
STEP 7 and correct the error in the corre-
sponding I/O module.

Run a firmware update. If the error persists,
