NOTE: The following procedure is applicable for models shipped with an M.2 2230 solid-state drive in the SSD1 and/or
SSD2 slot.
Steps
1. Align the screw hole on the M.2 2230 solid-state drive with the screw hole on the solid-state drive bracket.
2. Replace the single (M2x2) screw to secure the M.2 2230 solid-state drive to the solid-state drive bracket.
3. Align the notch on the solid-state drive with the tab on the M.2 card connector.
4. Slide the M.2 2230 solid-state drive with the solid-state drive bracket into the M.2 card connector on the system board.
5. Align and place the solid-state drive thermal plate in place.
6. Replace the single (M2x2) screw to secure the solid-state drive thermal plate to the system board.
