2. Paper Specifications and Adding Paper
Minimum length of cover sheet (mm/inch) = "length of book block sheet (mm/inch)" × 2 +
"thickness of spine (mm/inch)"
For example, specify a cover sheet length of at least 440 mm (17.4 inches) to perfect bind a
booklet comprising 200 sheets of A4 forming a book block of 210 mm (8 1/4 inches) long and
20 mm (4/5 inches) thick.

1. While lightly pinching the fence, align it with the paper to be loaded.
2. Load paper face up and neatly stacked.
Do not stack paper over the limit mark.
