Applicable Safety Standards

When
used
according
specifications, this product meets or exceeds all
applicable EN 795:2012 Type B and PD CEN/
TS 16415:2013 Type B (only when used as a
component in a complete horizontal lifeline
system) [applies to two-user HLL systems only]
standards for fall protection.
Applicable standards and regulations depend
on the type of work being done, and also might
include further local regulations if applicable.
Consult regulatory agencies for more information
on personal fall arrest systems and associated
components.

PD CEN/TS 16415:2013 Type B (two users)
Compatibility
When making connections with device, eliminate
all possibility of roll-out. Roll-out occurs when
interference between a hook and the attachment
point causes the hook gate to unintentionally
open and release. All connections must be
selected and deemed compatible with Cross Arm
Strap by a Competent Person. All hooks must be
EN 362:2004 approved.

The Cross Arm Strap is recommended for use
with the following products:
Anchorage (such as horizontal lifelines)
EN795:2012 compliant systems.
Retractable Type Fall Arresters
EN360:2002 compliant.
Shock Absorbing Lanyards EN355:2002
and EN354:2010 (if applicable) compliant.
Restraint Lanyards EN354:2010 and
EN358:2018 (if applicable) compliant.

Work Positioning EN358:2018 compliant
devices.
 WARNING!
If the user weighs 100-140kg,
ensure all PPE equipment used is rated to
the increased maximum user weight up to
140kg for the applicable standards above.

Horizontal Lifeline Compatibility
This cross arm strap has been assessed for
compatibility with the following devices:
Guardian Rope HLL
#14660; 14661; 14663
Guardian Webbing HLL
#14663; 14665
Guardian Retractable HLL
#14664
The Cross Arm Strap may be used with HLL
systems which do not transfer loads greater than
19.4kN to the anchorage during service.
Additionally, selected HLLs must NOT interfere
with the safe function or performance of the
Cross Arm Strap.
