Removing presser
foot
TURN OFF THE MACHINE BEFORE REMOVING THE
PRESSER FOOT.
1. Turn hand wheel until the needle is in its highest
position and lift the presser foot.
2. Loosen the screw "A" and remove the shank pulling it
down.
3. To replace the shank "B" fit it around the presser bar
and tighten screw "A".
Changing a needle
TURN OFF THE MACHINE BEFORE CHANGING
NEEDLE.
1. Turn hand wheel until the needle is in its highest
position.
2. Loosen the needle clamp screw and remove needle.
3. With the flat side of needle to the back, insert new
needle up into clamp as far as it will go.
4. Tighten needle clamp screw firmly.
