Press the CANCEL button if you have en-
tered the PlusCode number incorrectly.

To record once, press the VIDEO Plus+ button.
(The TV screen switches to the programme list
display.)

Repeat steps 1 to 3 for other recordings.
The following error messages will appear to
inform you that something is wrong.
"ERROR?' - An invalid number has been entered.
Re-
enter the correct number.
"OVERLAP ERROR?" - The entry you have just made
overlaps with one already present and therefore it will
not be entered into the memory for recording.
After you have entered the PlusCode number and pressed
the VIDEO Plus+ button, the numbers will be converted
into the programme's data and will be displayed on the
TV screen. The minutes of the 'TO' will flash and you can
change this by using the JOG & or & buttons. If you want
to change the hour setting, press the SHUTTLE
&
button. You can now adjust the settings, by pressing the
JOG Ei or fl butions. As notall TV stations have the PDC
facility, you can extend the recording time to allow for
possible programme delays.
Depending on the order of your stations, the
channel number (CH) may differ from the one
inthe TV listings, magazines or national newspapers. To
correct the channel number, press the SHUTTLE
&
button to select the channel number and enter your
correct channel by pressing the JOG & or & buttons.
You will only need to do this once.

Press the MENU button to quit.

standby mode for programmed recording.
A. Everyday recording with VIDEO Plus+
After entering your PlusCode number, press the
VIDEO Plus+ button and then press the SHUTTLE &
button to move the flashing to the "DAY" setting and
press the JOG & or & buttons to display [E-DAY].
B. Weekly recording with VIDEO Plus+
After entering your PlusCode number, press the DAILY/
WEEKLY button until "WEEKLY" appears on the dis-
play, now press the VIDEO Plus+ button.
([E-] and the
day of the week are displayed on the "DAY" setting of
the programme list display. For example, [E-WE] will
be displayed for weekly Wednesday recordings.)
C. Monday to Friday recording
After entering your PlusCode number, press the DAILY/
WEEKLY button until "DAILY" appears on the display,
now press the VIDEO Plus+ button.
([MO-FR] is dis-
played on the "DAY" setting of the programme list dis-
play.)

For Monday to Friday and Weekly recordings,
the PlusCode number will operate 1 week
prior to and 1 week after the scheduled broadcast date.
Normally the programme list display's defaut
setting is the "p" setting. If you want to change
this setting, press the SHUTTLE @ button to move the
flashing area to the "p" position and change to a "t" for
timer programming mode.
This recording method dis—
regards PDC signals andis recommended for TV stations
which co not use the PDC system.
You can programme your VCR using the
VIDEO Plus+ function almost one month in
advance. For example; if today is March the 9th, you can
programme the VCR right up until April the 7th.
No
matter how many days the month has, two days wil
always be lost!
