display "LINE1" or "LINE2"

# When CABLE BOX
CONTROL is set to ON,
timer recording cannot be
done through LINE IN.
© To set the recording tape
speed, you can also use
TAPE SPEED.
© To change or correct a
setting before confirming it,
press CURSOR P to
highlight the item you want
to change and reset it.

¢ If the @& tape indicator in
the VCR's display window
and the TIMER indicator on
the VCR flash when you
press TIMER REC ON/OFF,
check for one of the
following causes:
~ no cassette has been
inserted,
- the tape is at its end, or
- the safety tab on the
cassette has been slid to
show the red portion
underneath.

When using a cable box, leave it on.
The VCR automatically turns on and
starts recording at the preset start time,
and turns off at the preset stop time.
To stop recording
To stop while the VCR is recording a program, press TIMER REC ON/
OFF to turn off the TIMER indicator on the VCR.
