PcOS Printer Control Codes

®
The following section defines the iTherm
280 Ithaca
PcOS emulation. The native,
®
Ithaca
PcOS emulation provides the most flexibility and control over the printer. It is
®
consistent with most previous Ithaca
PcOS products, and should be used when the
printer is placed in a new application.
®
One new feature in the iTherm
280 Printer is the ability to print color graphics, and the
control codes for color graphics are all new. Due to the complexity of color graphics,
TransAct provides several drivers to integrate into your application. TransAct does not
recommend that you generate drivers. In addition, TransAct has created several tools
that can be used to generate and maintain graphic images and files for print on the
®
iTherm
280. Information about drivers and tools are available on the TransAct web site
and on a TransAct Software Developer's Toolkit. For more information about either of
these options, contact Technical Support.
